Do It Yourself: Pie in a Jar

For a fun holiday favor, try this recipe for a tasty wedding treat. 

Ingredients:
Pie Crust Dough (fave recipe or pre-made)
2 12 oz. cans of cherry, apple or your favorite pie filling
2 Tb of sugar
1 large egg beaten

Supplies:
6 4 oz. mason jars, cleaned with lids and labels removed
Heart shaped cookie cutter
1 Cookie sheet

Do It Yourself - "Popped" Centerpieces

Looking for a DIY project to fit any color scheme and add to your guest table decor?

Make these simple table-toppers using thread of any color, balloons and scissors.

We suggest using battery-operated candles, or adding something small in the middle of the "popped" centerpieces by placing the object into the balloon prior to blowing it up.

One of Port Gamble's own brides chose to make her wedding party's adorable place settings out of scrabble chips. Her attention to details and caring for her guests included kids craft packs and "emergency" kits in  both the men's and women's bathroom. The kits included full packs of gum, hairspray, freshening spray, lotion, individual flossers, among other items. Her guests all loved the thoughtfulness of this giving and detail-oriented bride.

Nearing the holidays, these origami dresses make wonderful ornaments to hang up on as tree decoration to remember the special role they played in your life.
